Bad Storage can get you killed

Posted on Posted in Uncategorized

We have taken out all the garden furniture from the shed, at the first sighting of a sunray, at the beginning of March. soave english - garden furniture storageGood Garden furniture isn’t as expensive as it used to be, so we could afford to get a nice set last summer, only, we bought too many pieces  and storage has become a serious problem.

Between the garden furniture, the 5 sets of bicycles, the old pots and garden tools and trash waiting to be taken apart for recycling, the shed has become a bit of a nightmare (and a paradise play house for the cat and some 500 of his closest friends).
Storage seems to be the curse of our time. I’m not just talking about garden furniture. my phone can’t handle the amount of photos that we send and resend in my family. My computer can’t handle the amount of data I’m storing in it. We can’t seem to be recycling our trash fast enough to make space for new trash, and as it turns out, there’s a research that connects Alzheimer’s disease with the development (and storage) of information and memories in our brain.

this week we’re talking about storage and its implications. The things that people store, the things society thinks we should store, where we store things and the strange, and sometimes dangerous things that were found in other people’s storage lockers.
